Frequently asked questions

Who approves your equipment?

If information is to be used for advising the public, making important political or planning decisions or to be compared against national or international air quality objectives, it is essential that the information be correct and of a high quality standard.

The Enviro Technology product portfolio has been carefully chosen to include equipment meeting agreed national and international standards including US EPA, TUV and MCERTS.

Approvals such as MCERTS guarantee that the analytical instrumentation has been thoroughly tested both in the laboratory and in the field and meets the very tough quality assurance standards set out in the MCERTS testing programme. Basically it is a measure of "fitness for purpose".

However, approved instrumentation is just one part of the overall quality assurance programme. A high level of quality assurance and confidence is required at every step between the actual measurement of the gas at source through to the presentation of the data in the graphs and reports.
